Pros

Thru is a forward thinking and looking company. Thru has released 3 very strong additions to the Thru offering this year, that will increase the Thru adoption within our clients business base. Thru listens to our customers, which drives our innovation and creativity. It is exciting to work for a company that actually listens to their customers and implements features that are wanted and needed by those same customers. Not to mention future customers that will adopt these same features. Ideas are openly discussed and encouraged within the employee group. Like a true startup, ideas are the life blood of the company. Thru fosters this creativity from the top down. There are internal tools to submit and track ideas. As a member of Thru, you feel like you can influence the direction of the company and contribute to the success of the company as well.

Cons

Thru is a start up, so you need to be able to wear lots of hats and adapt when needed. This is not for everyone. You need to be flexible and handle what is assigned to you.

Pros

The executive leadership team are industry veterans, and their experience shows. Very hands on, and they work well together to provide a good product and service to our clients, and an environment for the employees which is both challenging and enjoyable to be in. There is adequate opportunity for personal professional development within the day to day operational work, as well as specific investments in individuals by leadership. Office culture which is productive and fun. The ping pong table gets a lot of use!

Cons

As a smaller organization, we are required to wear many hats. There is no dedicated HR staff, for example, which means it can be a little frustrating when an HR question comes up. It's a good way to stretch out of your comfort zone, but it means there will be some inefficiencies along the way.

Pros

Great work environment for the creative thinkers and hard workers. It always feels like a startup environment because the culture is all about creativity and finding ways to solve complex business challenges. Never a dull day. At the same time the company want to provide a productive work environment. Nice lounging area where employees can unwind with some ping pong and board games, Friday morning breakfast. The CEO has an open door mentality and is very receptive to new ideas and suggestions. The C suite in general is very open minded and instills a culture of team work.

Cons

The company has certainly gone through some growth pains, usually aligned with the health of the economy in general. As with many companies, we are always understaffed and looking for good people. It certainly takes special skills and character to fit in.
