      It is a good place to work

      Pros

      They have great office parties and the benefits are great. They pay pretty well and the offices are really nice.

      Cons

      The company vision is alright but the company has not made money. They seem to only really be able to make money off their patents which expire in a few year so not sure where the company will go after that.

      Lack of vision. Lack of innovation. Became more and more bureaucratic. A BIG small company. Management is not transparent.

      Pros

      This was an innovative company, at one time. It should be one of the cool places to work in Silicon Valley. TiVo invented the DVR, now lawsuits pay for easter egg hunt parties.

      Cons

      It is not a fun place to be. The CEO doesn't have any passion for entertainment, or care about the employees. They are expendable. There are too many people doing what--engineering? Why no innovation since 2000? Stay far, far away from this mess.
