Pros

- Onsite haircut, carwash, coffee with no rBST,order lunch waiters.com, 25c soda, free juice, Mac or Dell Laptop, massages, biweekly fruits, health benefits, vacation plan. - Depending on group there's leisure travel at various company or partner locations - You will get great feedback on your annual appraisal reviews, but don't expect any raise or promotions. As those reserved for some management favorites. - Rated one of the top places to work in 2011/2012. - Bicycles to ride between buildings, riding nearby trails also ok.

Cons

Cons - Company never made a dime all these years 13+.Business is focussed on IP battle field.Stock holders $$ burnt. - Directors and above in management, focused on outsourcing jobs to Indian companies like Tavant technologies, Cognizant, Wipro anther way to earn backdoor $$.Corporate Mafia. There is an official outsourcing director under Senior VP. - Efficiency of projects, example now 10-to-20 outsourcing people on a project in offshore team, when compared with 2-3 fulltime regular employees onsite. - Management has a don't care attitude towards employees, kicking and spending unnecessary projects to gain their quaterly bonus. This company does pay bonus to manager and above, inspite making quarterly losses. How to spend or get bonus is super high priority. - This place has lots and lots of single managers, single directors and I've seen single VP's too.LOL.

Pros

Annual company BBQ, Free TiVo box

Cons

Extreme work overload No " thank you " from management for the 60 hours a week and sometimes weekend work required to just maintain your work duties. Management is wack. In meetings, it's like an inquisition. You are constantly bombarded with questions about your project's status and if you don't know an answer, your boss scolds you because it makes him look bad. Very political, very confused environment. One group doesn't know what the next is doing. Everyone watching out for their own.Even job responsibilities are clouded. Lots of micromanagement. Only 10 payed holidays ( most companies have 11 -12). Only 2 weeks vacation per year to start. No matching 401K. They won't hire more people to relieve the already overloaded work environment, you just get to work more hours. Your job responsibilities could change overnight.Product Management has no clue. When the economy gets better... I'm out of this circus.

Pros

Competitive salary Some very smart engineers work here Good work/life balance Good health insurance Room for career advancement (if you make yourself visible)

Cons

Lack of coordination across departments Internal politics keep teams from using a consistent process for software development Management focused on getting a release out the door at the expense of creating technical debt, which makes products hard to maintain Too much reliance on outside contractors for important work
