      Things have changed at TiVo

      Pros

      Lots of interesting work. Family oriented gatherings on site several times a year. Good medical and dental benefits. Employee discounts on new models of TiVo. Free coffee, tea, and milk.

      Cons

      Too much work on too many projects with insufficient coordination. Quality was once the top priority but now it is schedule and features. Recent layoffs of about 25 experienced employees were done wih no notice and in secrecy. If asked, senior management said, "They just left".

      Pros

      Lots of support throughout organization for whatever needs you may have. Products are cool and brand is very well know in the industry.

      Cons

      The company is not profitable from its core business. Brand awareness of product needs continued differentiation from other DVRs. Stock has not performed as well as it could.
