Pros

- Good cafeteria - Relaxed atmosphere where engineers have flexibility on how they manage their day and tasks

Cons

- Poor wages - Meaningless promotions with no merit increases - The only path to getting meaningful wage increase is to be close to the CEO and take on extra work for him consistently. - Engineering culture where exclusive knowledge of products/projects makes you more valuable instead of promoting knowledge sharing and documentation - Frustrating tech debt that promotes said engineering culture and bad coding practices

We've seen a dramatic increase in the average engineering salary. There are some engineers who wrote great code and work hard. The better you ar the more you make this is a meritocracy.
