Pros

by another review "Most of the non-management people are good people to work with.

Cons

TierPoint is just like any other company that under-appreciates and takes advantage of talented professionals. If you are one of these unfortunate talented professionals, you will be expected to work long hours for a director not very tech savvy or have even been in the tech industry. You will be confused about the culture St Louis management promotes in required "Culture" meetings because they won't even follow their own drivel. Instead they show you how to be cold, calculating, and ruthless. For these reasons, stay away from TierPoint, they are horrible unless you are part of the Good Ole Boy St Louis Club.

Pros

The day I was terminated at Tierpoint was not a pleasant experience. But now looking back, it was the best thing for me.

Cons

It's a cutthroat culture. The senior management team in St. Louis is the worst I ever worked for. It the former management team that worked for the CEO when he owned Suddenlink. Former Windstream employees are leaving in droves.

Pros

You meet some good people.

Cons

EVERYTHING!!! Upper management treats you like dirt. They try to use scare tactics on you. No career advancement, dead end job. The CEO is smart, but only cares about the $$$. Management does not care about their employees. The managers that do care have little to no power in making a difference. As mentioned in earlier post. It's a territorial place. Egos are flying high and all over the place. The place became toxic. If you're looking for just a paycheck and can deal with childish practice, then this place is for you. My advice to anyone thinking of working at Tierpoint is to keep moving along. Nothing to see here...
