Pros

3 years into my stint at TierPopint and I still love working here. The level of inter-department collaboration is refreshing. There is a zero tolerance attitude towards pedantic, fiefdom building mentality. The implementation and support teams are very well run. Other strengths - Mature Product Team that delivers - Senior leadership that is involved and supportive - The benefits are great (I was even able to add my life partner to my insurance! Marriage was not a requirement) - Fair and competitive compensation

Cons

The breadth and depth of the product set is difficult to keep up to speed, especially in the pre-sales engineering side. The backoffice tools are sprawling (likely due to the various acquisitions over the years) but they are doing a great job to rationalize and consolidate this. The company is very metric driven and used for evaluating employee performance. Sometimes metrics don't tell the whole story. Some groups run lean which can lead to over worked situations.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at TierPoint. We work hard to stay competitive with our benefits and love hearing that you and yours are fans of our benefit(s) offering! Thank you for being so specific with areas that you feel need more TLC in 2021. We utilize Glassdoor comments in our strategy and goals for the year - so it was great for you to include them here in the way that you did! Thanks again for speaking up.

Thank you for posting on our Glassdoor page. We are sorry to see that you are no longer an employee with us. Our support teams in Omaha, NE, St. Louis, MO and Valley Forge, PA are an excellent place to get started with TierPoint for individuals who have a desire to work in a technical field and have a customer service mindset. They serve as frontline customer service employees who get to set the tone for many customer interactions. Additionally, these roles largely serve as educational opportunities to help learn the company & trade, as well as grow your skills to a position on an implementation or engineering team or within a Data Center. We are always looking to progress, and we will certainly examine the perception that there is no room to grow within the company outside of positions at Bellevue.

Pros

A few awesome people around, excellent benefits, get to learn amazing technologies.

Cons

Doesn't matter how much effort you put into, promotions are only for a selected group of employees. Employees don't care how financially strong the company is every single quarter if it does not translate into better salaries
