Pros

Great Leadership, Plentiful PTO/Sick Days, Company Communication including new technology seminars, Competitive Pay, Progressive Company Culture. Tierpoint, like any company in IT, has roadblocks occur. Tierpoint continually works to improve company policies, customer relations, and internal obstacles as they arise.

Cons

I do not have any at this time.

Pros

Fast-moving company with a clear vision around data center solutions and managed services. Willing to partner with industry leaders and newer visionaries alike. A culture of helping one another even if it's outside immediate purview. Generally positive attitudes and creative thinking when it comes to developing products and services. A willingness to get things right even when it means revisiting long-standing decisions.

Cons

Smaller company. Some systems and processes are outdated. Acquisitions have created some pockets of legacy systems/products.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. At its core, TierPoint is made up of individuals who are eager to work together towards common goals and visions. Our team collaboration efforts are strong, even across multiple locations, a 24/7 environment and internal departments. In 2020, you can look forward to continued enhancements to our company infrastructure/system support and improvements to many other business priorities. It is an exciting time to be a part of the TierPoint team!

Pros

Flexible work hours, ability to work from home, generous amount of PTO, paternity leave, drawings for local sporting events, and strong push for work/family life balance. If you are filling to put in the effort, you will be rewarded. I've been promoted 6 times which came with very nice salary increases. The new management team is very willing to listen to the employees in the trenches and take suggestions. Large recent investments in infrastructure and datacenter growth. Each day I learn something new or meet another brilliant engineer.

Cons

Several years ago TierPoint made several large acquisitions and there was a rough patch when all companies systems were consolidated into single systems. During this time there were several management and overall vision changes. This has been worked out and the company is in a much better place now. TierPoint has engineers and teams across the country. If you are not used to working with remote teams, this may take some time to get used to.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at TierPoint. We work hard to stay competitive with our benefits and empower our leadership to ensure flexibility for our employees. Your priorities are our priorities and we think that makes all the difference. You’re right about that “rough patch”. It took a lot of intention and the visions of everyone to work together in building TierPoint into what it is today. It is something to be proud of and we are not looking back!
