Pros

- Good discounts on jewelry and in proximity to other corporate headquarters in Parsippany - People's eyes light up when you say you work for Tiffany's - Retail store sales people are very nice (unfortunately I don't work with them)

Cons

- Managers and supervisors lack competency in providing a positive, open work environment - Cultural bullying - lack of work-life schedule balance for 'lower level' employees, while managerial levels are never "available" for support. - Micro-managing - Many dissatisfied employees

Pros

employee discount, young coworkers make for a high energy environment

Cons

-new commission scale, with economic downturn they suddenly made commission scale goal based which means the average sales associate gets a pay cut, unrealistic goals set by management -deteriorating brand (so much silver merchandise and not necessarily good quality, now new metal with copper retailing much higher than silver, are you a luxury brand or not) which leads to a mix of customers, international customers not too familiar with the brand or think of it as fashion brand -no room for growth (rarely promotes from within, would rather hire new management with no experience in retail) -pay is low when compared to other luxury companies -management will do anything including lying to your face about things previously said to protect themselves and their jobs -management will not stand up for you, no support, but you will get talked to over every single minor transgression -management is stupid, lack of product knowledge, policies, don't know how to use the register -management plays favorites, talks crap about other employes and members of management team behind each others back -really the management attributed to the one of the most unprofessional settings I've ever encountered

Pros

Not many....Employee discount, some friendly people trying their best, experience with well known brand for resume.

Cons

Where to begin. Low pay considering profits and brand name, old school management tactics, micromanaging to the point of making people uncomfortable, unrealistic work pace, poor predictability with scheduling leading to poor work /life balance, poor time card management, misleading of information upon hire regarding commission and sales potential, high turnover rate, eggshell environment, new sales quotas, low rate of pay. Sad.
