      Pros

      As a salesperson, Tipalti attracted me from my previous job for 2 reasons. 1) I instantly recognized that the company culture was a place that would foster my growth, while also being a fun place to work. 2) 100% client retention rate. Our product is simple to use, provides a great deal of value to Finance teams worldwide, and is the only product of its kind in the marketplace. It's really fun and inspiring to work with a team that truly sells value.

      Cons

      In Palo Alto for the time being, which is a pain to get to from where I live, and there's no way I can move closer. Processes are consistently being updated, which is necessary, but can also lead to some confusion when there's a lack of communication.

      Tipalti is great startup company with a wonderful culture and a fantastic opportunity to revolutionize the way in which organizations manage the entire payment process and workflow. Management is bringing in the best in the industry to help lead, guide, and inspire the company to new heights. It is a fun, fast paced environment with tons of opportunity to learn and grow. Comp plans are great, and everyone is supportive and willing to help.

      Cons

      Office space is a little tight, however there is a great buzz in the office. You are going to need a new office soon as we are out growing the existing space.

      I've been here over a year and a half and we've grown a lot. Our customers seem very happy in how we operate and the value we deliver. Being around the Valley. I've never seen anything like Tipalti in 20 years in terms of the right solution at the right time. It's rewarding to work with non-ego driven people, but also for a company you can be proud of -- one that's built on ethics and reason and sound business decision making. The relationship between sales and marketing is collaborative and quite strong.

      Cons

      The biggest challenge for the company is getting the word out to a nascent, underserved accounts payable and financial operations market and conveying that message as a pain that needs solving. At the same time, it means there's a really wide greenfield of opportunity. While Palo Alto's downtown is a great area for walkability and restaurants, the commute in and out of University Ave. from SF and the South Bay is horrible. The office can be a little noisy because there's a lot of people in a small space. Thankfully, I like pretty much everyone.
