Pros

Your MIT few months they pay you hourly and let you work 60 plus hours so make a lot of money. Out side of that none!

Cons

Once you go salary they work you with no help and six days a week. The stress and work is not working at all. They run you into the ground. There is a reason no one stays. They don't want anyone to see the P/L or anything business wise to show what they make and make is so you can't make bonus. Very shaddy people in upper management and no support.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your time with us at Tire Discounters and are sorry we were unable to talk with you to resolve your concerns before you left the company. The store support teams are always available to explain how our pay structures are designed to support your family finances as well as ensuring you were receiving the reporting you needed to gauge the success of the team members working with you as well as whole store performance. Thank you for your feedback and we will seek to be even more helpful and clear in the future.

Pros

New shops and new equipment

Cons

Pay is lacking for the area. In addition, upper management continues to adjust pay scales and forces workers to sign new pay plans to "fit" their model. Upper management changes often and when they do get someone that actually cares about their people, they push him until he steps down or resigns. The company does not provide a solid training structure unless you're in Cincinnati. Store managers change often and they work them ridiculous hours until they find another opportunity. Two days off in a row doesn't exist and if a holiday comes along, that is considered the manager's day off and he gets nothing but extra work. Pay for management as well as counter staff is lacking. Most people can make more money at a fast food restaurant than they can as a tire technician. Service managers are paid like sales associates for other companies. Policies are put into place, forced on everyone, and then changed within 30 days. No one seems to know what's going on. Work life balance is horrible. A couple years ago, it was stated the general managers work 46 hours. Then the scale changed and not they are required to work more than the service managers while the service managers are capped at 50 hours.
