Pros

There are so many different people with so much experience and knowledge within the company to speak with and grant direction. Additionally the continued training and 1v1 coaching is great. The company is thriving and wants it employees to succeed. If you have good work ethic and want to grow within the company, with self advocation you will have no issue.

Cons

As this is a growing company, there are going to be lots of changes and hiccups along the way. Must be able to adapt well to changes. Industry low base for BDR role but commission is great.

I was lucky enough to kind of randomly find an opportunity as a Sales Associate with Toast. Any BDR work is not glamorous but the people and management more than make up for that. There is truly a great deal of upward mobility available to those that work for it. In 7 months I have been promoted to an Account Executive position which comes with a handsome pay increase in the city that I requested. I have been fortunate enough to receive coaching and mentorship from others at Toast and those lessons will be extremely valuable as my career progresses. I feel very lucky to work for such a great company like Toast and feel that the feeling is mutual

I think there could be some higher expectations of performance

Pros

The culture at Toast is amazing. Very inclusive, hard working and fun!. Pay is great (base + commission, and a lot of opportunity for bonuses). They go out of their way to congratulate success and they truly care about the impact they're making in the restaurant/hospitality industries.

Cons

Toast has been and is in a hyper growth state, which is great and they're doing fantastic things, but you still feel a bit of the growing pains. As a sales rep, hitting your quota is everything and the most important thing to District Managers and up. And as an outside rep, you sometimes feel disconnected to the company and your peers.
