Pros

Value of the employees, and training we have access to. The bonuses, the random money that gets put in your 401K, the yearly sales contests with incredible trips to win. Great, caring co-workers. Overall, a very organized company.

Cons

A lot of pressure from upper management, at times, during the slow months.

Horrible IT Management

Pros

Most of my co-workers were awesome people and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

IT Managers and Directors don't care about you or your career. If you talk to your Manager and/or director you are now a target. Management plays favorites. No training after others were sent to training. Managers have giant egos.

Pros

I seriously can only think about the free coffee, soda and tea from the model homes. Nothing else.

Cons

The pay that is promised is based on what your community is suppose to sell. Usually that number is over exaggerated so you don't get the money you are promised. Also you don't make your money in the first 6 months because you only get a small portion when you sell a house and the rest when they settle. So for the first 6 months all the houses are still being built and you don't see your money. It's very common for sales associates to complain to each other about the misleading pay. Management is also very rude to associates. A lot of office politics. No over time. You usually work 45 hours a week and no over time at all. It's fine if your salary but the pay is misleading and it's normal to go for months not selling any houses and living off your 30k base salary. That's less than $800 biweekly.... even though they say you will make more if you sell X houses a year. No one ever reaches that goal every month. No one respects the sales girls. We had a region wide quarterly meeting where the CEO came to talk to us at one of their country clubs. The email said breakfast would be served but there was only coffee and bagels. People drove an hour away to hear the CEO give an update about the company to let us know that toll had made over a billion dollars profit this year. One billion dollar profit! And they couldn't even serve us eggs or a nice breakfast. For the xmas party it's a cold cheese and cracker platter and coffee. For a company that makes a billion dollars in profit a year they can't even offer any benefits of bonus or food to their employees. Do you want to be part of a billion dollar company that will not even offer you a xmas dinner/drinks at a xmas party?
