Pros

Tom James is family oriented and all about building people. I love that my leaders know exactly how well I'm doing and are always there when I need help. I work with hundreds of the top people in my city and they treat me as a friend instead of someone who works for them. I really like that the company allows you to run your own business and gives you all the principles and habits that lead to success in that business. One day when I have a family, I'll be able to make my own schedule and still keep my clients and my stock at Tom James. No other company I've heard of wants me to do well and succeed in life as much as my company wants me to. They also allow us to start teams and hire more people to work with us to grow our company. The income is unlimited and for the record...I DID make $10,000 my first month selling and I did make over $91,000 my first year in sales. All I had to do was follow the habits of success that the company gives to you when you start. After my second month of selling, I had a normal schedule again too, where I went into work at 7:30am and left every day at 5:30. My life is so great because of the opportunities my company has given me. I purchased my Lexus RX350 brand new in my first year, and am closing on my first home next week and have only been selling with Tom James for 15 months. I would recommend this job to anyone who is willing to be SELF motivated and set high goals.

Cons

As with most sales jobs, this one eventually becomes straight commission. I don't think that's a bad thing though because that means that the amount of money you can make each month is unlimited. If you don't like to force yourself to be in a situation where you may be rejected, then you probably shouldn't ever try and sell anything, let alone Tom James suits. You will have to work hard, no one micromanages you. You have to be self motivated. If you haven't ever been in a sales job, I don't recommend this one because you will take rejection every single day, just like the rest of us. You have to be able to handle the pressure of giving yourself a paycheck every day. I start my daily salary at $0.00 every morning when I wake up. And every hour of the day I try to give myself a raise by selling gorgeous suits to high class people. If you want a guaranteed income, then you'll have to set that goal and be a hard boss for yourself. Or, of course, you could go work at a desk job. Good Luck!
