Pros
Hands down, the biggest pros of working at TQL are the culture and lucrative pay. Very laid-back but driven workplace environment. On Fridays, we typically have ping pong, cornhole, or video game tournaments with the occasional beer drop. There are also a lot of in-office competitions and company outings that strengthen the overall workplace morale. The position itself is very lucrative and rewarding if you have the drive to be successful. You make your paycheck based on the work you put into your book of business. As an AR, you get paid biweekly commission checks on top of your base salary. As your book of business grows, so does your paycheck, If you have strong problem-solving skills, motivation to make money, and grit, then this is the job that can change your life.
Cons
This is not your basic 9-5 pm job. You will have to occasionally work long hours and weekends to maintain your book of business. No one will force you to work after hours, but if you do not, it will be very difficult to find success here. What you put in, is what you get out. While that is by no means a bad thing, this is not the job for someone who needs to unplug at 5 pm. Trucks break down, carriers give back shipments, issues will arise occasionally and you must be attentive.
