Pros

*$16/hour (researched this is higher than other ABA companies) *$.54/mile for mileage *easy interview; literally can get hired with no KNOWLEDGE OF PSYCHOLOGY/AUTISM (which is awful because these kids have demanding needs). *Can also get easily hired if you love kids, don't mind working in people's homes, and can work weekends. *easily give promotions after working 7-12 months (obviously if your work hard and they notice the results. *Have tuition discounts for certain schools to continue/get higher degree in certain field (obviously ABA). *the 40 hour training is just videos, doesn't even check book work, test is open book and open note *the certification test is separate from the company (which is dumb).

Cons

*Unorganized with scheduling *RBT is only part-time (under 30 hours) *slow on the process of building clientele (will start of with 6-12 hours, takes MONTHS to build up more) *pay mileage, but only if you go over 30 miles in a day (force you to take clients that live closer to your, rather than farther). *really stingy on pay and taking time off. *tuition discount is only at this unknown schools, so maybe isn't credible outside of this company. *NO BENEFITS UNLESS FULL-TIME AND A HIGHER TITLE *Once promoted to a Senior/Leader, salary pay is ONLY $32k/year (that's nothing compared to what the state and others pay like $35k-45k/year with amazing benefits.

Pros

I love working for Total Spectrum. Everyday is different, and it is a team atmosphere. The kids are great and it's wonderful to see them learn and grow everyday. It's amazing to hear from parents about how the work we do impacts the lives of the whole family. The BCBAs are very professional and they are always there to help whenever you need them. They truly care about the children and the families.

Cons

On busy days at the clinic parking can be limited since we share with another business.

Pros

-Training was well done -some knowledgeable BCBA’s

Cons

-Policy confusion among office personal, HR, BCBA’s, & RBTs. Therefore, violations of policies are at whoever’s will -Hr and office do not answer calls/emails when questions about vocally states policy’s don’t match the company’s policy handbook -HR rep who hires on a new employee asks them to immediately write an online positive review of total spectrum -A known person of the company’s team was used to at multiple employees fired for subjective related reasons like not liking a persons response . - Very unethically altered policy’s multiple times a year & did not tell RBT’s and BCBA’s of those changes, which are the ones who actually implement the policies with clients/families. They also changed policy’s on parents of the company last minute (policy’s not in the TS handbook) -Have rbt’s work schedules just shy of full time so that they don’t get hired at full time status which requires benefits - Company actually pulled salary pay to full time employees (BCBA’s & Senior RBT’s) within a month of advising them that salaries may be pulled in 6 months. -Office personnel all reside within the same space therefore they become close knit which could be a good thing but becomes problematic when it manifests in unprofessionalism like lying for one another (HR is included in mix) - No Line of command or contact list is given to new employees therefore if ever a problem occurs you will likely need to speak an unbiased source
