We pride ourselves on having a culture of support, training, and professional development opportunities. We strongly encourage all employees to bring any concerns to their supervisors. We also take all feedback seriously and if/when issues are identified, we take action to remedy that.

Pros

- Loved working with clients and young children - Enjoyed working with some other BTs on a few different teams! -Good experience for if you have never practiced ABA and first time working with autism diagnosis.

Cons

- I worked in Michigan. My supervisor never responded to emails, or when I have asked her questions pertaining to the client she would never give proper feedback. - I initially asked for full time hours and I only received an average of 10 hours a week. - I was lied to about company policies, regarding staying on a team and being switched off. - I conducted my sessions with professionalism and input techniques from outside feedback. However, was switched off of 2 different cases without it being communicated to me or legitimate explanation. I was informed through clients parents about another tech taking over my sessions. No explanation from supervision or higher ups. - Lacked stable hours. They will want you to drive far without pay for mileage. You will only receive a few cents per mile that goes over 30 miles. Any mileage under 30 you won’t receive pay. - The Ann Arbor clinic lacked supportive atmosphere. When trying to gain clarity on situations, the responses were passive as if they didn’t care to answer. Poor/Nasty attitudes and lacked professionalism. - I am leaving due to lack of stability, communication, and professionalism. They have only given me 2 hours a week at this point which is crazy. 2 hours!

Pros

- Decent benefits - Entry level - Lots of training and supervision - Can commute from home to do home visits instead of working at the clinic - Holidays off - Paid for mileage above 30 miles

Cons

- Sometimes felt "best practice" and "what is right for the client" are in conflict / ethical dilemmas - Often strange hours (for example, I'd work from 8:30-1:00 pm, and then drive to a separate client to work from 5:00-8:00 pm)
