      Good company, bad HR

      Pros

      Good, Solid company with good values. Good to work for.

      Cons

      HR is underqualified, incompetent and very manipulative. They make empty promises for future positions. Double standards, some people implement strong ethical values, some just dont. Management just throws a blind eye to this. Corruption will be a part of Total for as long as they do not implement strong discipline and do not conduct financial and procurement audits. They do not advertise career opportunities, people are employed without following a proper recruitment process and they only work through agencies.

      Pros

      Good prospects and environment. Aggressive drilling plan and good benefits package. Extensive skills are used to help drive the business forward.

      Cons

      Sometimes lack of man management with some team leaders but this can be on a case by case basis. Not always opportunities to work elsewhere around the globe depending on job role.
