Pros

Opportunities for growth. Benefits good. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Management often makes decisions without seeking input from frontline staff, resulting in limited transparency around organizational changes. It is not about what you do, its all about who you know! Running short staffed with extended care assignments very frequently. 1 PCA for 15-30 patients. Very low retention rate for PCA's. There is a strong emphasis on projecting organizational success and image yet the day-to-day reality reflects significant internal instability. Some employees exhibit behaviors that contribute to a negative workplace culture, and their continued presence can impact the organization’s reputation and can be due to wanting to retain employees and staffing issues. Financial hardships causing frequent layoffs within system.
