Pros

Besides having a paycheck coming in, there is no benefit to this job.

Cons

They don't care about their employees. It is a revolving door of hires. They throw people into positions with hardly any training, and begin threatening your job immediately. You are penalized for trying to work out payment plans instead of tricking clients into renewing loans for more future debt. Despicable management that tries to pretend they care about integrity, when nothing could be farther from the truth. No respect of your time outside of work, be ready to work 6 day work weeks.

Pros

After working for Tower Loan for a few months, I can say the only "pro" was the pay and the hour lunch of freedom from the office.

Cons

Tower Loan was my first job prior to graduating college and at first, I was pretty ecstatic, but as I began matriculating through the position it became a true nightmare. If you have a degree, please do better than this. The hours are extremely long but they were also very interchangeable. During this COVID pandemic, we were required to stay two hours past our closing time just to make ends meet. My manager was extremely rude and hindered me from progressing in the position, she wouldn't teach me anything but the very basics as a tactic to use me as a pawn within the company. She would also use very colorful language, discuss politics in the workplace, and also make very graphic sexual comments within the office and made me feel highly uncomfortable. Manager Trainees are seen as disposable and were switched out in six to seven months rather than promoted. Be prepared to also belittled by the Supervisors, Directors, and Managers alike as well because they don't genuinely don't care.
