Pros

Fun environment with fun coworkers, easy jobs, reachable sales goals, flexible scheduling, contests

Adults shopping for Christmas presents are often very rude and uptight, down time gets boring quickly, low pay, managers don't like being bothered for help

Retail is Retail

Pros

Competitive Pay Opportunities for advancement - Promotions based on performance Vacation/Paid Time off - You will start with 2 weeks vacation and 10 days personal time (total of 4 weeks) Alot better than another retailer that I've worked for. I don't feel like overpaid labor. Although retail will be retail and it has its cons (crazy customers, black friday, wishy washy payroll) they have a great culture.

Cons

9.5 Hr Work days 6 day work weeks in season (however, you are given 3 additional personal days to compensate) Micro-managed Retail Environment - It's not for everybody Training - It is structured and placed in a training store however there is not follow up from DM or Regional partners
