Management skills were nearly non existent, no respect for most of the hard working staff. Always hours being cut and not enough people scheduled to complete the expected amount of work. Everyone is treated as disposable and the pay is very low for the expected level of work.

Toys R Us mandates an hour lunch, so you end up being at work for 45 hours a week. It would be much better if a fifteen min to half hour lunch was allowed and then employees could leave 45 min earlier and tend to family etc. Toys R Us is corporate to the core with a lot of set rules and a rigid hierarchy. Most people move around laterally for years before moving up and its seems as though some people are swamped with work while others have nothing to do. People don't seem happy in general and my part of the office is dead silent during the day and it can be depressing. Besides that, there is not a lot of time off.
