Pros
-The Employee discount -Schedule is accommodating -Part time is good for students and those who are retired. -Good place to shop until you need help
Cons
-You’re overworked for very little pay -You won’t get enough hours which isn’t sustainable for a grown person. -The Jackson location specifically is very poorly managed and there’s no balance. -Managers and Team Leads will treat you like crap and talk down to you like you’re one of their children, especially if you are unable to do the work of 2-3 people at the pace they want you too. God help you if someone calls out and there are only 2-3 people here to do freight or recovery. You will have to drop everything to help the customer but if you don’t get done on time it’s your head. -You will get blamed for a lot of stuff you have no control over. -Training is inadequate. They will throw you to the wolves once your online training is complete. If you can’t learn fast enough, you’ll still get chewed out for any mistakes you make. -You’ll have to deal with a lot of rude customers on your own because literally no one will have your back. -They’re chronically understaffed because they can’t keep people, and on busy days like Freight days, it can be pretty hard to deal with. -They don’t respect your time. They will try to strong arm you into staying over if Freight or Recovery isn’t finished and God forbid you have other plans after your scheduled shift is over. It’s one thing if you want hours, but if you can’t stay, you don’t deserve to be made to feel guilty. -To them, you are just another body. They don’t care about you.
