Toxic work environment for personal and professional growth

Pros

Tons of work to be done all the time. But your not guaranteed hours.

Cons

Lack of staffing appropriately for shifts (2-3ppl on at the most) Under lving wage pay. You will only work 32-34hrs a week. Staff pay comes out of store budget not company paid. Bullying and lack of dealing with issues when they occur from upper management. No way to rise in the position/management/store you work in. You will be stuck with your pay and where you are. You will do several peoples jobs for basic pay, but the expectations on the job rise above the worth of the individual working, and the DM & store manager will not fight for equal or livable wage payouts. Store transfers are done only of people "like" you and not look at further work put in and the output of said work and reflection on said store.

Pros

You get to see dogs and that’s about it

Cons

-They do not hold bad managers accountable even after receiving multiple reports on the same manger -Pay is unfair -The store manager favorites the men and disrespects the women - Getting punished for calling out sick even days / a day ahead of time with a doctors note. Hours will drop down to 4 or 5 hours a week max for awhile. - The store manager plays favoritism very very badly - The store manager fires multiple people who have been working there for years for no valid reason just so he can give his previous employees at his previous job a new place to work -They expect you to not take any bathroom breaks - The cleanliness of the place is concerning -Drama - You will be told to do something yet get in trouble for doing what you were told especially if you’re a female

Drastically reduced fertility benefits

Pros

used to be a great company to work for to grow your family

Cons

Within 3 months company changed their fertility benefits policy TWICE. They used to offer two IVF cycles after 30 days of employment. First they changed it to a year of employment in late May, now they cut it back to just 1 IVF cycle with just a 30 day notice. So HEARTLESS. those people have no idea what it’s like going through infertility, and that in most cases 1 cycle is not enough to become pregnant. They’re about to face thousands of people quitting cause that’s not the way to treat your employees who work tirelessly in order to get a chance to grow their families. Company likes to talk about their great values, but when it’s time to demonstrate it in action - turns out their values are only words and it doesn’t go beyond that. SHAME
