Where to begin... only having 3 registers and being constantly busy doesn't help the consistently long line that remains the stores number one complaint. As for the workload, you're expected to do more than you're able to do because the store is always understaffed. You'll have to take care of the online orders (pick and give to customers), answer the always ringing phones, load up in the front, load up in the side lot which you can be stuck doing for hours, run the register, stock product all day and if you're closing, zone the entire store, sweep the whole store, clean the bathrooms and take out all the trashes. You'll need keys and a scanner to help the customers, the only problem is management doesn't trust you enough with them so they must sign them in and out with you at all times. Speaking of management they have no accountability. You'll be written up for calling in no matter what the excuse, but they have no problems coming in 3 hours late, leaving 5 hours early or just taking personal days off. They say they appreciate everything you do, but like most retailers, you're just a replaceable cog in the machine. Also expect to have stuff done in an unrealistic timely manner or you will be confronted about it.
