Pros

Friendly co-workers, good hours, competitive pay, room for advancement, management and company is very open to opinions for improvement. Tractor Supply has very good benefits and offers great stock programs to employees.

Cons

Dealing with customers that don't realize that majority of things that go wrong happen elsewhere and are out of the store employees control. dealing with the stereo-type of people who work in retail don't know what they are doing.

Pros

Long tenured associates that know TSC Farming, Livestock, Power Equipment really help meet customer needs, and made my job, as Store Manager more efficient and effective. Good Monthly Sales Bonus, for associates and management. Have authority to make things right with customer service concerns and problems. HR has your back if there is any disciplinary problems with associates.

Cons

Very Poor Management Training! First 3 weeks was a 10 hour a day cashier! Lack of leadership, mostly self study and asked a lot of questions from tenured associates; District Manage was constantly distracted by personal and business phone calls and vested little if any support at all. Training Manager was only interested in her $1000 bonus if I got a store. Annual raise first year only 1% for all store managers in 2010.
