I appreciate the work-life balance offered by Traffic Plan, exploring the area I live in via going to different worksites, learning and understanding the processes that our partners (eg, PSEG) perform.
Cons
Allocating a yard or small parking area for north New Jersey employees. The cities in this area offer little to no commercial vehicle parking, city-maintained lots have extraordinary long waiting lists so one could not get a call back until a year later, if at all. If Traffic Plan is unable to afford property, Traffic Plan should offer recompensation to employees who pay for parking of the company van. Backtracking to my beginning point, having a yard in the area would make it easier for us to exchange equipment with other employees, offer a spot of reprieve for the morning or the end of workday, as well as somewhere that supervisors or management can offload gear from another yard, to restock and refill the equipment needed by other employees in the area, acting as an outpost.
