Pros
IR has a very good brand in the market. Whenever I tell people (who are aware of IR), they hold you in high regard. While IR isn't that recognizable among laypeople, it's a good organization to spend many years in. You also get a good work-life balance. A bonus for people working in the tech side of things, you get a chance to go abroad as well.
Cons
Almost government job like vibe. Things are slow and process oriented.
