      Pros

      Ingersoll Rand is a great company to work for who will reward hard work with solid opportunities. I've had the pleasure of working in several parts of the organization and would recommend working for any of them.

      Cons

      The company has always had a lot of change in management and structure. The changes usually always result in an improvement to the company, but adjusting to the pace of change can be difficult to get used to.

      Pros

      Good visibility and opportunity to grow. Great access to further education thru inter company education program at Ingersoll Rand University. Any class you want

      Cons

      Not always the best at looking at all candidates in the talent pool for succession planning and investment in employee development. If you have the drive, you can make it for yourself, but not a structured program for it.

      Opportunity to advance at all levels. Encourages cross functional training. Decent pay & mediocre benefits. Mentoring from seniors is nice but you have to find your own mentors.

      Cons

      Big corporate environment. Not who does best work, but who's most liked. Bad managers/employees are hard to get rid of & takes years.
