Pros

It's interesting to have a company that builds real things - crates, packaging - right in the heart of Silicon Valley. I loved touring the factory floor, full of sawdust and cool design technology both. Family owned, TransPak has grown to be a leader in crating, and expanded globally to include logistics services, creative product packaging design, and environmentally conscious packaging. Many employees started on the factory floor and now manage a division. Many also stay at the company for years - it's hard to find that experience nowadays. Every meeting has a time for a shared laugh in addition to the business at hand.

Cons

Well, the office space is what you might call low key - there are few frills.

Pros

Great colleagues!! There is a visible ladder and several success stories within the company. Room to move around within the company, even at any of the several locations abroad if you'd like.

Cons

Fast paced environment, with customers who demand a hight level of service. Long commute, although that's not the company's fault.
