Pros

Great people working with you, a lot of support from your peers.

Cons

Low pay Got sold great bonuses, but in reality every quarter the bonus is very low, not at all what I was expecting, and very little transparency.

Pros

- You get to trauma bond with some cool people who are just as, if not more, burned out as you are - Cool office location - I would say it pays the bills, but it really doesn't

Cons

- Terrible pay, absolutely not livable, and honestly some of the lowest within the industry despite being the biggest company - Bad management practices, feels very gaslight-y and manipulative - The office politics will make your head spin - Can be clique-y, if you don't behave a certain way you are cut off from development opportunities - No transparency around how bonuses are distributed - You have to work every other bank holiday - WFH strongly discouraged even at the height of the pandemic

Pros

Very few, if any, pros to list here. One silver lining is that you will get a decent amount of exposure to different languages, cultures, and markets.

Cons

Horrible company culture and work/life balance. Everything is about making sure the company's bottom line is as high as possible. You will work yourself to the bone making sure the C-suite is happy and rich, and then you will not see even a portion of your fair share of the profits unless you dedicate your entire life to the company. Bonuses were always late. I was lied to about my benefits after leaving the company, and HR made mistakes regarding my last paycheck and refused to honor a bonus they still hadn't paid me after over three months of waiting.
