There are so MANY! First of all there was no effort into onboarding during COVID to ensure that employees had a good experience. Leadership preaches work like balance but in reality the expectation is to be available to clients at all times. When I interviewed I was told the hours were 9-5. When I started the hours became 8:30-5:30/6 but it is really 24/7 because you always have to be available to clients. The mindset is that individuals in sales should invest in themselves, therefore the company will not provide any resources to make you more efficient or productive. Every employee creates their own zoom account because the company won't provide them. Sales has to handle their own billing and collections. As a sales professional I have never been asked to handle billing and collections. I think it's absurd that sales has to spend there time collecting payments from clients. And if the client doesn't pay in time your commission takes a hit. What scares me the most is that I interacted with employees that have been working at TransPrefect since they graduated college and they don't know that companies can be run so much better than this and its a horrible work environment.

Exploitation, unpaid overwork, most employees are vendors, company has dysfunctional payment system for vendors, I left the company due to over 10k in salaries that were left unpaid, every bill was questioned and new requirements for invoicing were added. Company paid salaries to a PayPal account against my will which lead to PayPal withholding the money. High pressure and stress, not enough documentation. Many colleagues left as a result of severe burnout and overworking.
