Pros

Some good people that are worth investing in. New NY office space was nice pre covid.

Cons

* The pay is atrocious. They will pull you in with promises of raises that you will never get. We continued to get emails from the CEO and other executives bragging about how much money we made over COVID, meanwhile all raises were cancelled or delayed (for well over a year). * They restructured the entire production department in a way that essentially demoted people and decreased their pay, then couldn't understand why people were upset and quitting. * The work is repetitive and easy but entirely too much for any one person to complete in a normal work day. You'll always be working overtime, and you likely wont be paid for it. In NY they use the predatory pay scheme called "flexible work week" where you are always paid your "salary" but your overtime is paid at 50% or less. You'll never work less than 40 hours a week so it's useless. They just do it as a loop hole to avoid NYC's salary minimum wage. * Throughout all of COVID they did not provide us with laptops, a stipend, anything. We all worked on our own personal computers. * They expect PMs to reason with translators to get them to do GREAT work for PENNIES. Most PMs do not speak another language. For those of us that do, we see just how bad the content is. Which really is to be expected when they want you to completely rob translators for the work they are doing. I could go on, but I've left the company and am so much happier. I wish I had known how bad it was or taken these reviews to heart. If you have a great manager and team, you could really enjoy a few years growing here, but you wont move up unless you drink the koolaid. It's a decent place for recent grads looking to gain some experience and a small paycheck, but get out as soon as you can. You will learn more and make more elsewhere.

Pros

-actually surprised how much PTO I'd accrue over time. -a lot of offices around the world

Cons

-Upper management is not personable and basically speak to each other during speeches rather than to the company. It's cringe -T e r r i b l e work/life balance and compensation. absolutely terrible and I cannot emphasize this enough. As someone who enjoys working and dedicating myself, the work is administrative, thoughtless and mismanaged. -You will not be put on a team based on your interests but simply by what team is struggling the most. If you decide to work here, fight very hard to be put on a team you actually think seems cool. If they say there's no openings, they're just trying to fill bodies on the burnout teams with major turnover. -Turnover is insanely high, even for NYC standards. -You only will earn a company award if you work 55-60+ hours per week. You will not even want an award because everyone you know that has one works hours like 7:30am-8pm, and on weekends. -They pretend like they give you accounts/responsibilities because you've earned them but it's because there's major issues and you're a scapegoat. -No sense of cohesion, the people really do not inspire me at all. everyone is sort of a worker bee.
