Pros

Remote work Decent pay Company adds holidays throughout the year for extra time off

Cons

Terrible management - cannot articulate what they want and change their minds constantly then get mad at what you deliver not matching their most recent change in direction. Pretty sure management does not know what they are doing as they cannot answer a question when you ask them something that they are the subject matter expert on. HR covers for management and tells you to be quiet when they give you a poor review even though you have emails showing the review is incorrect and what you were asked to do is the complete opposite then what is in the review. CPQ development is a complete joke. They pumped millions into it and the pricing director has completely messed it up through incompetence and is now doing everything he can to hide it from his bosses. He is currently throwing his direct reports under the bus to save himself. Data available for customer analysis is terrible Highly matrixed so things do not change Seriously don’t join the pricing team, high turnover as new hires flee right after starting. Many new hires on that team end up quitting after only a few months

Pros

Worklife balance can be great depending on where you work

Cons

Company wants to be a tech company but is run like an old fashioned bank. Benefits are average, growth potential is minimal. No one in upper management can make a decision. Systems and hardware are outdated or poorly implemented and make getting your job done difficult. HR does not foster a positive work environment. Serious attrition problem that was ignored until it was too late to turn around.

As a company, TU takes pride in offering comprehensive benefits, including career coaching to help set up our associates for success. It is important to us that we continue to foster a positive work environment; however, after reading your review it appears we have missed the mark. Thank you for sharing a review of your experience during your time at TransUnion. It’s encouraging to hear how you felt our benefits were a pro, as we work hard to ensure we offer benefits that are meaningful to our people all around the world. But, I’m disappointed to read your comments about the culture and am sorry that was your experience. As you may know, I was appointed into the newly created Chief Talent and Diversity Officer role last August and one area of focus is on our people and culture – connecting our people globally and ensuring everyone has equal access to opportunities. I intend to challenge conventional ways of thinking and be a leader here that is going to influence continued change so we can all show up and offer our best selves. – Teedra Bernard, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer
