Pros

Big infusion of investor capital has allowed TU to dress itself up to appear innovative. Work space, marketing materials and new logo's have improved quite a bit. People are generally nice.

Cons

Job opportunities and career progression is impossible. New hires have a better chance than those who are already investing their energy in trying to progress the company. Managers have no guts what so ever and appease one another. Politics are very thick but masked politely in a Mid- western way. All know to watch their backs. Compensation structures are not aligned to actions and contributions of individuals.

Pros

Great Benefits and promote a comfortable work/life balance.

Cons

That promoted work/life balance is more of a dream since your pressured into heavy workloads. No incentive for most employees, little to no raises, busting butt and sticking your neck out has small chance of paying off after all the extra work, and difficult lateral transfering. Typical large corporation, seem personal and compassionate but your just a bumber

Pros

401k match, work from home, unlimited PTO

Cons

Not sure where to even begin from, have been with transunion for almost close to a decade and the company has gone from decent to worse. Constant layoffs keep employees stressed about who's next on the chopping block. Leadership has no respect for the work employees do, the strategy changes every week and that trickles down from top to bottom. Unrealistic expectation, favoritism, political maneuvers impact day to day jobs. Very few good knowledgeable people left in the company. This ship is sinking real fast, avoid at all costs.
