Pros

Very typical corporate lifestyle. Culture varies a lot by team/department but overall nothing ridiculous regarding hours, management. People are very nice and courteous and care about your career.

Cons

Majority of associates are older folks who have been in the company for decades so can be difficult to advance depending on the team. The company is a bit outdated in it's technology usage although that has been changing in recent years albeit very slowly. Not the brightest group of talent that can challenge you to grow but compensate with decades of experience in the credit industry, which also unfortunately creates a system that tends to merit experience more than competence.

Thank you for candid response. We have implemented a lot of major technology changes over the past years, and we are definitely further along in our journey. But we are not done yet - we are looking to further expand our technology capabilities to really enable the business to grow. I believe that the limit for a company shouldn't be the technology, but the imagination to use it properly. Part of that is continuing to hire the best and maximize the potential of those who already work here. Our goal is to invest in our people to create a team that is flexible and won't settle for anything less than the best. - Mohit Kapoor, CTO

Politics and Demotivating Chaos

Pros

Well known company Intelligent coworkers Growing/changing environment

Cons

Too many layers of management. Many managers are "legacy" from when this company was privately owned and have poor or non-existant management skills and little accountability to their reports. Sales managers seem to not understand "sales" in a truly competitive environment - or the needs and struggles of sales people at work. "Reaching" goals are typical in any sales organization, yet the goals set here are unrealistic to the point of de-motivating. Pay plan for sales is extremely convoluted and dependent on disproportionate number of factors independent of reps' influence. Politics are ferocious and crippling. Sales org needs a positive change.
