      Pros

      It's an ok company. Good work/life balance. Decent PTO policy, decent benefits. Good people, but somewhat stagnant. There is a joke going around about TU being a place where careers come to die.

      Cons

      Energetic workers don't stay. Politics run the place, it's all about who you know. IT department is the worst as far as I can tell. Constant re-orgs and layoffs make it impossible to have a successful project. Minimal budget makes it impossible to get any kind of raise or promotion. Annual reviews are a joke.

      Pros

      Strong financial performance, strong staffing growth (always hiring), many opportunities for learning and career development. Austin office is a strong and supportive close-knit group. Great work culture, work-life balance, and supportive management. Offshoring exists as part of the strategy, but not to the degree that all the jobs in the US are disappearing (unlike many other US companies).

      Cons

      Limited flex-time or remote working options... this can be either a pro or a con depending on your preference. Some limited work-from-home is being slowly introduced and becoming more common.
