Pros

It’s a job, subsidized by the building owners/ asset companies.

Cons

Head team is looking to save their own skin, they will sacrifice performance, quality and really anything to keep the management of the property. The engineering department has very few knowledgeable employees, they outsource most of the work to contractors, they are mainly glorified babysitters that sit and walk around waiting to go home. Low morale. No checks and balance programs for employees, only when there’s an issue or complaints. Lots of lazy, unskilled and longtime engineers. Expect no loyalty from TW. As long as they get the management contract, it is all they want, after that, who cares.

Pros

Such a great culture & room for advancement.

Cons

Cons depend on the property you manage but Transwestern as a whole is a great company.
