Pros

There are some great people that work at Transwestern, and the company is very organized in its property management segment. As always, the team you are assigned to makes all the difference. Very straight forward position and expectations.

Cons

With all property management jobs, location is everything. If you are located in a nice area, it's great to come to work each day, but if you are located in a not so great area, then your work environment won't be quite the same.

We have properties in diverse areas in diverse states and markets. While many of our properties are considered to be Class A, we also have some that aren't. We hope that all team members feel they have a good working environment, and we'd be happy to hear from you if you don't. We are constantly improving and modernizing to attract the best, so let's talk about where you are and when that can happen.

Yes, that's true. The more self-motivation and initiative you have, the better fit with our culture. So glad it's working for you!

Pros

Each level of management treats all employees with respect regardless of job title.

Cons

There was a lack of clear direction in my particular office. My role had me receiving direction from up to 10 coworkers and many time this direction differed among each coworker. I was trained to do specific tasks from one coworker only to have a manager tell me that it was done incorrectly. Sometimes I would receive incorrect orders from upper management themselves. My requests for assistance would often go unanswered - phone calls not returned, no responses to emails.

Would love to talk with you about this... something didn't work right in your situation, and we should learn the particulars to prevent it from happening again.
