Best things: Stable company, layoffs are rare, good amount of PTO.
Cons
They seem to have difficulty hiring experienced employees due to their insistence on having them work in an office. Many of the newest hires quit after they get some experience and move on to a better paying job where they can work remotely. They have done a poor job, in my opinion, with planning for the future as it relates to staffing—-many employees are getting close to retirement, and claim management doesn’t seem to appeal much to the Gen Z’ers. It seems like you are always having to do extra work for a vacancy or because a new, inexperienced worker is training or job shadowing and not capable of handling a workload. It’s also a company where you are rewarded for hard work and long hours with more assignments and longer hours. It used to be a company that seemed to pay more than the competition, but I’m not sure that is the case any longer.
