Pros

People were very open and willing to help. Some members of mgmt. genuinely seemed like they were interested in helping you grow and learn. Pay structure is competitive and slightly better than average. Company is, as of 2023, doing relatively well financially so, has money to finance fixes, upgrades, and needed materials in various locations. Company is becoming more and more organized in its structuring and operation creating greater efficiencies in workflow. Company did revamp its core values and guiding pillars last year (2022/2023) which sound really nice and ideal; however, they have yet to be instilled and practiced by the team. Specifically, within mid-level mgmt. and below. I cannot comment on senior level mgmt.

Cons

Company is very compartmentalized so, you often find yourself having to tell multiple people the same thing many times over. This in particular led to a lot of time wasted due to the amount of emails sent, being re-sent, be explained and sent... again. It also often led to getting different directions from different people causing confusion and frustration when trying to make a decision, or get a decision made. Despite some members of mgmt. being helpful, others will act in the exact opposite manner but, in a very passive aggressive way so as not to draw a complaint. The company is very attentive to its "image" and how it is perceived in today's political climate; therefore, the company will often act in strange and inconsistent ways so as to maintain that "image" rather than do what is "right" or needing to be done which led to further deviation from maintaining a good, stable, consistent, and fair working culture that is in alignment with its guiding pillars and core values. The HR team is also not up-to-date on [state] laws. They often don't know the difference between what is legal/ illegal vs. culturally acceptable/ frowned upon... or they don't care. It seems they'd rather just do the least to make sure the "boat" is not rocked. Finally, just to be clear, these are all my opinions and for entertainment purposes only.

Pros

Great stepping stone, great people, lots of hand on projects. Great benefits and pay.

Cons

Opportunity mostly exists for the people in HQ office. Reaching ceiling pretty fast and can stuck in role for many many years, unless have an office in HQ. Overall same old corporate America.
