Pros

Super talented Creative team: writers, designers, photographers, videographers Easy to make friends Great products

Cons

Lacking focus and discipline at the top = wasted talent and untapped potential Fear-based leadership, male dominated Majority of the directors have no marketing experience outside of Trek, so plans are nonexistent

Pros

Good training with Trek U, great discounts on bicycles, point of sales has good user interface. Good systems and structure.

Cons

John Burke decided to roll out his vaccinate or terminate policy which canned a-lot of hard working folks who have been very loyal over the years. I'm not anti vaccine I'm pro "safe vaccine". Johns vision as he stated in his video was to lead the way in company health and safety. Meanwhile you have unvaccinated and unmasked people coming into the stores which renders his vision moot and nothing more than a virtue signaling publicity stunt. Further more there is gender bias regarding pay because the women get paid more than the men. I have 17 years of management, leadership and operational experience and made $16/hr the woman in the shop made $18/hr and came with a cashier background.

Dream Job but....

Pros

Nice work environment, plenty of skilled jobs, and people seemed nice. I was there before they bought the land to let their employees ride on. Sounds like a nice place to work yet. Still making good high end bikes.

Cons

When people tell you at a young age that you should find a job in a field you love. They forget that not everyone wants to be in a position of upper management, or want a desk job. From what I seen working there and the reviews on here, they don't play a living wage. Most people l know that have finally found their dream job in life, are only enjoying it because they are in a double income family and their significant others makes much more money than them. Companies like this do not care about the very employees that make them great. I left building bikes for a living, to build farm equipment for a living, buy when the dairy farm industry died l was left with no good paying jobs in these small towns. Still in the area after trying several companies out and haven't even come close to how well l was payed and treat in the farm industry. Still making now what l made in 1998.
