Pros

I feel that Trek embodies the work hard, play hard mentality. Things are very business, but no forgets that it's important to have fun, which mostly involves some sort of activity that involves bicycles (imagine that). There's lots of opportunity for career exploration for those unsure of what they're after, and increased responsibility is often given to those who hard to earn it.

Cons

The location in small town Wisconsin is a bit isolated from Madison, WI, but the commute isn't really that bad.

Pros

You can buy bikes for cheap

Cons

Expected to maintain a certain body type to have decent insurance cost, time constantly wasted on internal social network, 5 - 7 hour planning meetings where people play card games to determine the required effort to accomplish a task. Open shaming of new employees who don't have extensive knowledge of trek or an interest in biking / fitness. Focus on supporting stale technology in a massive patch work quilt of nonsense code.
