      Pros

      Bicycles are an exciting product to work with. The company has many flexibilities for work/life balance. Compensation is acceptable. Product development has a can-do attitude and strives to produce the best product possible.

      Cons

      The culture isn't for everyone. Some employees believe its great. For others, I don't think they are able to fit in and eventually move on.

      They make great bikes, so the engineering and design is great

      Cons

      Fun and flexible to the point where they lose direction, focus and a common goal. Every department has their own agenda and priorities which in no way matches any other department

      Pros

      Trek is big, global, approaching $1B per year in sales. Well over 100 of the best engineers I have ever had the privilege of working with. This company is willing to invest in the people and resources that consistently deliver success. Trek is growing, when a lot of other companies are just hanging on. The corporate headquarters is located in Waterloo, WI, conveniently between Madison and Milwaukie. Wither you like a small town or a big city you won’t be too far away. It is also nice to be a part of the solution.

      Cons

      Although the benefits are good, health insurance, time off, holidays, 401K, and company events; they seem to take away a little more each year.
