Pros

The best things about working at trek are that it is a small but big company, by which you can learn every bodies name but you receive the befits a large company. Waterloo can be a plus if you like remote, but if you are looking for night life, think twice.

Cons

The fact that the company is privately owned can be a plus and minus. The plus being that they are not affected by the stock market and a minus because salaries are tight because of the close eye of the top management. I would recommended visiting Waterloo before accepting an offer.

Pros

Not a lot of pros at a Trek shop.

Cons

Worst pay in the industry. They make you cold call previous customers about sales and tune ups. They don't really know how to run a bike shop. Not surprised they are closing locations.

Pros

Coworkers, bike discounts. Still a solid brand.

Cons

Culture was the first thing to go. Job are moving to India. Leadership is short-sited which leads to long-term pain.
