      Work long hours, completed many projects and even covered both shifts to be "let go" for no logical reason

      Pros

      Was able to work one to one with General Manager. Able to input ways of going forward with company. Believed I was an important influence with the company.

      Cons

      Company had older workers from other bankrupt plants that believed that their way was the only way. Pushing change was impossible when older workers did not support. Pay was lower then most other companies in the area. Training was all oral until work instructions were created. Office culture was fine until a month ago when it turned cold.

      Plenty of challenge, spotty support as upper management changes a lot.

      Pros

      The ability to put ideas into action quickly. Challenged by various client needs and troubles. Great support from direct management and Projects Teams.

      Cons

      Upper "senior" management was too far removed from the daily work done in the trenches. They accepted reports from their trusted supervisors and were not being told facts. It is good to have supervisors you trust but better to verify by actually making time to be in the plant from time-to-time.
