Pros

Wonderful coworkers. They are inclusive and encouraging toward new hires. They really help you grow personally and professionally. Everyone is in the same boat together. TriPointe is an excellent place to get your foot in the door in the New Home Industry.

Cons

Sales, Sales, Sales. The customer is nothing but a number to the company and once they buy they will get pretty much nothing from Tri Pointe. Management will work you like a slave if you let them. They threaten to fire anyone and everyone that doesn't provide them with impossible numbers, and when you don't provide...nothing happens. Its all empty threats.

Thank you for your comments! Employee development is something we will be working on over the next few months. We are currently in the process of expanding our award winning onboarding program to include more in-depth training for our new employees which will include specific construction process and other industry related training. Input from employees - especially our new employees will be important in creating the program so expect to see a survey regarding that soon. However, in the meantime, please approach HR or your supervisor regarding any specific training needs. We'll be glad to help.

Pros

Great opportunity to learn. Most of the people are nice to work with.

Cons

Even though it is a multimillion dollar company, don't expect a decent raise, ever. It's difficult to move out of the entry level position you're hired in to, unless you're related to someone.
