Pros

Great exposure to multiple cultures/languages. Quickly learn how to manage language line, solve communication issues

Cons

Can be chaotic as a small hospital, handling multiple issues without much support at times. Staff stretched thin often, not always given complete training/orientation.

Good hospital to work for

Pros

Good comradery with co-workers, good management - better than other TriStar hospitals. Pay is a bit lower than others but nurse/patient ratios are usually in line with acceptable levels which provides safer care for the patient and less burnout for the nurse. Overall, a good place to work with pretty good benefits - matching 401k, health insurance, PTO, etc.

Cons

As with any hospital, there are common problems and frustrations, such as unruly patients, tiring shifts, and seemingly constant rules and requirements, and this hospital is no different. Pay could be higher but that is mostly determined by HCA.
