Pros

People really enjoy working here since there is a prioritization on employee happiness and growth. Imagine working at a place where you look forward to coming into work because you get to hang out with your friends (everyone is very friendly) and get to build cool stuff. Since we practice pair programming, the lonely programmer problem is nonexistent at TribalScale. There are many opportunities to further your career, and we are encouraged to do so. To take the next step and become better. The leaders of the company are very approachable and are willing to help in any way. Learning is encouraged. We have weekly lunch & learns, they pay for courses, books, tech meetup tickets, etc. Lots of free food including hot breakfast delivered every day. Ping pong table, game consoles, foosball, Friday socials, etc. We are continually iterating how things are done in the company. We have feedback meetings where everyone writes on the whiteboard the things we like, dislike, and in between. The leadership then make changes to turn those dislikes, etc. into likes. Employees are appreciated, have a voice, and have an impact in the company every day. We have autonomy and ownership of our code. The work is project based so you don't get bored working on the same project for years. You work on projects that you want to work on. If you would rather work on project A or platform B, then you can. You just have to ask.

Cons

None. Working at TribalScale is great.

Pros

The environment is a unique balance of very relaxed yet extremely productive- everyone continually gets work done every week without having to be micro managed. As a QA, when we had time between builds, management would often line up projects for us to do in order to help us groom our skills as programmers rather than solely focus on QA.

Cons

Being the only QA (along with one other) during the term meant that work could get slightly overwhelming at times, especially when two or more projects were coming to a close during the same week.
