Pros

Many small business units, many development centers around the world, and international relocation opportunities. Very interesting product line, and opportunities to be involved in cutting edge technology. Trimble develops very good engineering platforms.

Cons

Poor market strategies, not very customer focussed, generally follow the "make it and they will come" philosophy. Extremely focussed on quarterly numbers, which drives a lot of very near sighted decision making through out the business. Very secretive about remuneration policy, salary grades, and performance incentive plans. Remuneration may not reflect changing job duties and responsibility, nor market rates. Office conditions in some sites are poor.

Pros

Trimble is an established company with a lot of experienced veterans on the Team. The culture is professional and relatively mellow. The managers are reasonable, approachable, and very competent. Co-workers are smart, friendly, and collaborative. Work-life balance is good.

Cons

I don't have many negative things to say, but there are some inefficiencies in the organization which can be frustrating to navigate, and difficult to avoid.
